GLASS PAINTING / 5-DAY INTENSIVE

Glass Painting: An In-depth Exploration of Technique.

Spend a week learning new skills and energize yourself with ideas to bring back to your own studio. Kathy Jordan has 35+ years of glass painting experience. Jordan is conducting Fall workshops in her private studio located in Media, Pennsylvania where traditional glass painting techniques are explored in depth. Reinforcement of Core Skills, Brush & Medium applications and varied Flesh Painting techniques will be covered. Students will have access to an extensive library, materials, brushes, tools and kiln-firing time.

Spring Session: June 8-12, 2020 

Fall Session I: October 12-16, 2020 

Fall Session II: October 19-23, 2020 

Maximum of 6 students per class session.

Classes are kept small to allow for individual instruction.

Cost - $695 per workshop, includes lunch and access to tools.

REGISTRATION

Send an email to check for class openings. If availability exists, a registration form with class policies will be sent to you which may be signed and returned with a non-refundable registration fee of $75 and a deposit of $275 to reserve a space in a class (total $350 to register with balance due later).

Formal Instruction takes place Monday through Friday from 10 a.m - 5 p.m. with a break at 1PM for lunch unless otherwise noted.

All sessions offer Communal Lodging $395 which is inclusive of continental breakfasts and communal dinners in "his" & "hers" guest house steps away from studio, as well as additional Open Studio hours each evening for independent exploration & painting

Uber or Taxi service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is available.

WHAT TO BRING?

Tools are supplied for these workshops. If you have personal tools which you would like to use, by all means bring them along. A personal respirator is always a good idea when working with glass pigments but dust masks will be supplied for your convenience.
